Anjannette is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. She takes an integrative approach incorporating mindfulness with psychodynamic psychotherapy. She has a doctorate degree from The New School for Social Research in New York City. Dr. Padilla Ryan has over 16 years experience providing psychological treatment to patients in hospitals, community mental health clinics as well as in private practice. She has worked with many adult individuals in a variety of settings including veterans at the Bronx VA hospital as well as cardiac surgery patients at Northwestern hospital in Chicago, IL.
She believes that focusing on the present moment is the only way to truly experience the joys of everyday life. It is the only time we can connect with our inner world as well as examine our thoughts, recognize our habitual reactions and thereby giving us a change to change our behavior. specializes in work with individuals with mood disorders, relationship issues, anxiety, coping with chronic illness, pain management and stress reduction. She also has experience in working with expectant and postpartum mothers. She is skilled in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

THERAPY SESSIONS
Therapy sessions are weekly, and are scheduled in advance. Standard sessions are 50-minutes in length and begin and end on time. Therapy can be conducted in office or via teletherapy [phone] if you are away on business or ill.
